Digital equity is a focus for us with thousands of young people still experiencing digital exclusion.

Digital exclusion goes beyond just an internet connection – it’s the opportunity to access the tools, knowledge and digital understanding that enable young people to participate fully in the world.

That’s why we launched Toitū te Toki in 2022: A device equity programme getting devices into schools across Aotearoa where it’s needed most.

Our pilot programme is up and running in Invercargill. We’re now entering into our second year of operation (2023). This year, we’re looking for new partners to help get rangatahi connected.

What we need

We’re looking for devices that meet the following specifications:

  • Windows 10 Pro Operating System (preinstalled)
  • 8GB RAM
  • 256GB SSD
  • Physical NIC (network socket)

Ideally you are a corporate or business who has devices coming out of rotation and can be refurbished and rehomed with the Foundation.
